Dairy Farm Assistant
We want to bring two motivated team members into our business as Dairy Assistants to work in a 54 bail rotary, 800 milking cows. We are located in Greendale, just 10 minutes from Darfield and 20 minutes from Rolleston.
The duties required of the hired people will include, but are not limited to, everyday farm tasks such as feeding animals, driving tractors, milking cows, animal health, weed control, shed hygiene, setting up break fences, moving stock, and calf rearing.
We are looking for someone who shares our passion for dairy farming. We require verifiable references of employment history, but no qualifications or experience in dairy farming are necessary, other than having completed high school or college.The roster will be five days on and two days off, with a 50-hour workweek. Shared accommodation is provided, and we offer a salary of $62,000 per year.
