Mō te tūranga mahi – about the roleWe are looking for a hands-on people leader to head up a team that is responsible for building high-throughput systems that move, transport and scale critical information to support our mission.As our Technical Team Leader – Data Transport and Complex Processing, you will join a friendly, supportive team of individuals who are passionate about technology and the work we do for the intelligence community.
As well as being able to provide advice and guidance as a subject matter expert, you will be the technical leader for a team whose functions include data distribution and transport activities, working with missions focussed data collection systems, and complex processing.You will support a number of engineers across the country, which may require you to occasionally travel domestically.This position will also see you work closely with vendors and industry partners, partner agencies and other NZIC staff.Ko wai koe – about youYou will be a skilled system engineer with experience and expertise in Linux system administration and complex processing.
You will also have the ability to lead a high functioning technical team to achieve their goals.
