We have TWO exciting roles available:
- Gardening Team Leader / Horticulture Lead
This role is ideal for someone with leadership experience and horticultural knowledge (ideally possessing their level 3 and possibly level 4 horticulture certificates) to oversee projects and mentor a small team. You’ll be working 4-5 days per week (32-45 hours) on a variety of projects across Wellington Central.
- Gardening All-Rounder
A great opportunity for someone with a passion for gardening and relevant work experience, to be involved in a wide range of gardening and landscaping projects. This role also involves 4-5 days per week (32-45 hours) to meet growing client demand in Wellington.
What You’ll Be Doing:
While both roles focus on gardening (garden maintenance, section clearing, tree work and general upkeep) you’ll also work on a variety of outdoor projects, including:- Property pre-sale work
- Soft Landscaping – Planting, soil improvement, and mulching.
- Landscaping Construction – Paving, retaining walls, garden edging, and more.
- Other Outdoor Services – Water-blasting, rubbish removal, house washing, and more.
Every day will bring something different, keeping your work varied and interesting.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- A team player who enjoys working alongside others.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable, with a great attitude.
- Willing to get stuck in and take pride in their work.
- Comfortable working as part of a close-knit team and happy to help out wherever needed.
- Full driver’s licence required, and ability to drive a manual vehicle.
- Able to meet at our base and occasionally travel to job sites.
- Gardening experience essential.
