This role supports the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred cancer care across Northland and the Auckland Metro region.In the past year, the New Zealand Government has increased funding in the medicines budget by over $600 million over four years, for publicly funded provision of 33 new cancer and 33 new non-cancer medicines.It is estimated that 92,240 patients across the country will access these medicines in the first year.As a key member of the Medicine Division, you will be responsible for coordinating outpatient clinic activity and managing follow-up waitlists.
Working closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will ensure clinics are scheduled efficiently and patients receive timely care.Your responsibilities will include:Scheduling, planning, and managing outpatient follow-up waitlistsSetting up, cancelling, and adjusting clinics as directedProviding administrative support to the wider module teamAssisting with clinic setup and ongoing waitlist managementAbout you:You are an experienced healthcare administrator with excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and a calm, professional approach.
