Chef / Café Cook – Daytime Hours Only
We’re looking for an experienced Chef or Senior Café Cook to take the lead in our busy café kitchen.
This role suits someone who enjoys breakfasts, brunch, and quality café food, and who wants stable daytime hours with a supportive team.
About the role
You’ll be responsible for:
Running day-to-day kitchen operations
Preparing and plating breakfast, brunch, sandwiches and light lunch items
Managing prep, stock control and food safety
Maintaining consistent quality and presentation
Working efficiently during busy service periods
Supporting menu execution and basic specials where needed
What we’re looking for
Proven experience in a café or daytime kitchen
Confident cooking breakfast service and toasted sandwiches
Strong organisation and time management skills
Able to work independently and lead the kitchen when required
Solid understanding of food safety and kitchen systems
Calm under pressure, reliable, and professional
