- Ara Whiwhi MahiThe Team Lead Level 1 role is instrumental in leading and managing a team who are passionate about the work they do.
You will have the opportunity to work cohesively with your team and other leaders to manage, coach and develop your people to provide quality services and better customer outcomes.In this varied role, you will:Support your team to develop and build their capabilities to deliver better business outcomes and ensure a positive employee experience.
This may involve managing both on-site and remote team members.Encourage your team to continually look for opportunities to improve services for customers across all channels and products.Actively manage and coach your people to provide end-to-end customer service, enabling our ‘right from the start' approach.Role model leadership behaviours and deliver on customer and performance outcomes.Act as a point of escalation or support to resolve complex issues and achieve better outcomes for IR and our customers.Support the health, safety and wellbeing of your people.About you- MōuTo be successful in this role, you will be motivated to work in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.You will also have:Strong leadership skills, including the ability to develop and motivate people to perform in their rolesThe ability to effectively plan and manage your team's work programmeThe capability to make effective decisions that consider impacts and interdependenciesA strong desire to learn and grow as a people leaderThe ability to clearly explain the ‘why' behind direction and decisions, so your people feel connected and understand how their work contributes to IR's goals and outcomesPrevious Team Lead Level 1 experience or equivalent is highly regarded.About us
