We need apeople-centric leader to manage a large team that operates 7 days per week 365days per year.
The Team Leader (Departments & Theatres) is a new role, soyou'll need to work as part of a new leadership team structure to build newprocesses, relationships and ways of working that enable success not just inyour team, but across all the teams in the Christchurch Health CampusEnvironmental Services department.This is a full-time role with standard hours of 3.30pm-12.00amMonday to Friday including some public holidays and evening penal rates.You will be responsible for:managing recruitment, induction, rostering, performance and development of Cleaning team membersliaising with Department leaders to ensure the service is meeting their needscoaching the Cleaning Supervisors to run their shifts and deliver a great quality service that minimises patient risk and maximises a positive patient experiencecollaborating with the Team Leader (Wards) to enhance service efficiency, hospital flow and team culturemonitoring and auditing activities to ensure we are meeting Health NZ standards and policies.We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and flexiblecandidate who can show passion for the role, relentless positivity and has theability to bring these traits out in others.Skills and Experience:exceptional interpersonal skills, including calm, consistent and positive leadership ability to stay focused on the end-goal and work with colleagues in a constructive way across areas of shared responsibilityexperience leading and communicating with diverse teamsknowledge of healthcare cleaning requirements would be an advantage but is not essential for candidates that bring the right attitude and management experience.
