Industrial Electrician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, qualified and highly skilled Electrician to join our client’s team based in Invercargill Central Southland. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, installation, and commissioning across a range of projects and clients.

• Performing electrical maintenance and repair work on a variety of systems and equipment
• Installing new electrical infrastructure
• Commissioning and testing electrical systems to ensure proper functionality
• Troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Providing technical guidance and support to other team members
• Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and best practices

• Must have full New Zealand electrical registration
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Electrician, preferably in a maintenance or installation role
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
