Nind Electrical has been operating in Southland since 1977. We have branches in Invercargill, Dunedin, Queenstown and Christchurch and currently employ over 100 Staff.

A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Industrial electrician based in Invercargill. Nind Electrical services a wide variety of industrial clients throughout Southland & Otago including national companies. Some plants by their very nature require 24/7 backup and as such Nind Electrical provides that service to our Industrial clients.

The role covers a mix of preventative maintenance and project work for key clients.

The applicants should be able to demonstrate experience in managing industrial projects from initial planning stages through to completion of electrical work to a high standard. Ensuring project documentation is completed to original specifications and being able to demonstrate a good understanding of Health & Safety protocol is essential.

Automation experience would be considered an advantage for this role.

The successful applicant will have a positive attitude and an ability to work well within a close knit team. Communication skills are essential both oral & written. Our electricians operate from modern premises and ongoing training is provided.

Applicants must have a current NZ Drivers license, NZ Electrical Registration and Current Practicing Certificate. Applicants must be eligible to work in NZ to apply for this role.
