This is an on-site position based in Christchurch for an experienced MAINTENANCE ENGINEER IN THE NZ FOOD PROCESSING SPACE

THE ROLE:Overseeing & coordinating all engineering functions of the plant. Improving efficiencies and promoting pro-active approach within - electrical, mechanical & refrigeration maintenance. Working closely with the Plant Manager and Maintenance team in maintenance planning.
Prioritize jobs from daily maintenance to large projects.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE/ HAVE:Related trade/ tertiary qualification: Fitter / Maintenance Engineer etc
Minimum 4 years NZ manufacturing maintenance - ideally foodAbility to liaise between different plant departments
Proven results in Continuous Improvement/ LEAN Manufacturing
Experienced in assessment of maintenance work
Previous experience leading maintenance scheduling
Proven successes in compliance, risk assessment, budgeting & reporting
Have used maintenance software
Have immediate NZ Work Rights/ Visa
