Fitter, Welder, Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Fitter/Welder/Maintenance Engineer

We are a family owned and operated general engineering firm in South Auckland that has been in business for over 55 years.

The ability to learn quickly, work both individually and as part of team, as well being flexible in the range of tasks required, is vital.

You need to be physically Fit and Healthy, have your own tools, and be able to work to a deadline and a willingness to work over a 40 hour week when required.
  • Trade qualification in fabrication, fitting and welding.
  • Have a wide variety of fitting and maintenance experience. In both preventative maintenance and repair work.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
  • High standard of welding and fabrication in Mig, Tig, and arc welding would be an advantage
  • Excellent technical ability and be able to carry out your duties to a high standard within time frames
  • Able to work in a team or unsupervised
  • Have a strong commitment to health and safety
  • Have a full driver’s license
  • Physically capable and self-motivated with a can-do attitude
  • Able to work across multiple sites and variety of industries
