Are you ready to take on an exciting new opportunity? We are looking for a Trade Assistant to join our dynamic Facilities Maintenance team at Christchurch Airport.

In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring our projects meet contractual and commercial targets. Your support will help our team excel in their tasks, and your commitment to promoting best practices in health, safety, and quality will be essential.

As a Trade Assistant in our Facilities Maintenance team at Christchurch Airport, you will gain hands-on experience in a variety of tasks. Your primary focus will be supporting our electrical team with filter changes, test & tagging, and other essential duties.

Additionally, you will have the chance to assist our carpentry, painting, and mechanical fitting teams as needed.

What You'll Bring to the Table | Nga Mea ka Mauria e Koe ki te Runanga:
  • Full class 1 driver's license.
  • Experience working in trade-based maintenance (preferred but not essential).
  • A strong work ethic and not be afraid of a hard day's work.
  • Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Self-motivated and driven towards commercial success.
  • A strong emphasis on health & safety.
