Chef
LWLH Hospitality Ltd is looking for 3 to 4 Chef to join our business in Wellington. The position on offer is for a Permanent Full Time Position. Must have 2 years relevant work experience. Relevant qualification and Certificate in Cookery would be desirable.
The successful applicant should have the following skills and work experience as listed below: 1 Plan daily menus and specials for sale.
2 Prepare and cook food.3 Order food supplies for restaurant.
4 Monitor all food costs and operating expenses.
5 Ensure food quality and presentation is of the highest level.
6 Liaise with manager, and other staff to ensure food quality and service is to the appropriate standard.
7 Train staff on correct cooking procedures for various food types.
8 Ensure all staffs are familiar with correct food storage techniques and health regulations.
9 Select and train staff as per company guidelines.
10 Store and save food as per standard procedures.
11 Deal with any customer complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
12 Ensure all OSH and Health regulations are maintained on the premises.
Have good health, character and a good work ethic, must be a team player. Be able to work unsupervised, be physically fit and reliable. Remuneration will be in the range of $25 to $30 per hour as a start rate and is indicative of the applicant's background, skills and past work experience, could later earn up to $34 per hour.The employee is offered a normal work week of 40 hours with overtime available as and when required. Must able to work over time in weekend and night shift . May able to work as split shift(Exp 8am to 2pm then 5pm to 8pm). Basic baking skills , catering and event experience are may required.
