About the Role As a registered nurse in theGastroenterology/Endoscopy service you will be part of a dynamic team providingcomprehensive care to patients who journey through our Gastroenterologyservice. This includes working in the endoscopy procedure room and recoveryarea as well as undertaking procedure pre assessments.
As we offer acomprehensive out of hour's service our RN's are required to participate on anon call roster. We are co-located with Medical Day Stay and share a staffingmodel therefore the Registered nurse will be required to work across bothEndoscopy and the Medical Day Stay Unit where we deliver a range of infusionsfor patients with acute and long term conditions.About theTeam/Service Location We are a small but growing team of 7Gastroenterologists, a nurse practitioner/nurse endoscopist and several specialtyclinical nurses.
We provide bothinpatient and outpatient care and perform a range of diagnostic, interventionaland therapeutic endoscopic procedures. In Medical Day Stay our nursing teamprovide a high quality infusion service to the patients living in our communityand districtAbout you We are looking for a Registered nurse who has experience working in theNZ health care setting and has relevant nursing skills.Endoscopy experiencewould be an advantage along with the ability to be available to work on anon-call roster out of hours. Thesuccessful candidate must have a can do attitude, be flexible and also becommitted to developing and maintaining relevant specialist knowledge.
