Etta Restaurant and Bar will be opening, hopefully today, in Casebrook, Christchurch.
With understated elegance in the decor, the food will be a mixture of modern New Zealand cuisine along with Mediterranean influences to bring to life a dining experience that will be the talk of the Town!
Working along side Samson Stewart, Owner & food extraordinaire from 5th Street, to create a beautiful menu - Head Chef Daryl Remaneses is looking to bring on board a team of talented, hard-working, creative chefs, who are passionate, calm and ready to bring this amazing restaurant to life.
We are looking for a Full-Time Junior Chef to work closely with Daryl and the rest of the Etta Kitchen Team, keeping food and quality at a very high standard, ensuring smooth services and running a great kitchen.
You must have at least 2 years high quality kitchen experience. We will be running A la carte menu and gourmet pizzas during the day and then switching to a 'share plate' concept menu in the evenings.
Working side by side with the Head Chef & Sous Chef, you’ll will ensure prep is completed to a high standard and in timely manner, keeping a cool head in a busy service, be passionate about food and cooking and be keen to learn everything you can.
Etta will be open 7 days a week but only 2 evenings (Thursdays & Fridays), so your role would look to be Fridays to Mondays and approximately 38 hours, but will be discussed with each applicant.
