Experienced Sous Chef for Pub Style Restaurant

We are seeking reliable Sous Chefs to play a vital role in crafting our menu. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for preparing hearty dishes that embody the essence of pub dining. Your creativity, attention to detail, and passion for food are essential to providing an exceptional dining atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of classic pub dishes according to our menu specifications.
  • Ensure all food preparation and cooking activities adhere to food safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with head chef and team members to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and utensils.
  • Order and manage food inventory, notifying management when supplies need restocking.
  • Follow recipe guidelines to consistently deliver high-quality dishes

  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • Must be confident to work independently
  • Flexibility to work rostered shifts, including late nights and weekends, public holidays.
  • Commitment to maintaining
health and safety, and food hygiene compliance at all times.
  • Experience in a similar role, specifically in a restaurant or similar setting, with a strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and food presentation techniques.
