You’ll deliver accurate and timely financial operations while supporting team capability, improving systems, and providing high-quality advice to stakeholders. Your work will span a variety of core functions, including: Accounts payable and receivable Debt management and reconciliations Financial reporting and quality assurance Supporting financial systems, policies, and process improvements Responding to customer queries and providing clear guidance You’ll also support leadership by contributing to training, coaching colleagues, and driving continuous improvement across the team.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical financial administration skills with a proactive, team-focused mindset.

Key skills and experience include: Proven experience in financial administration (AP/AR, reconciliations, reporting) Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate, timely work Experience using financial management systems (FMIS) Confidence providing advice and support to stakeholders Ability to coach or guide others and share knowledge Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples’ culture Nōu te rourou | What's in it for you Oranga Tamariki offer a step-based remuneration package, that offers progression annually for experience through tenure.
