Fruit Production Supervisor

We are seeking experienced and motivated Fruit Production Supervisor to oversee daily orchard/farm operations and ensure the efficient production, harvest, and quality control of our fruit crops. This role is ideal for someone with strong agricultural knowledge, excellent leadership abilities, and a passion for high-quality fruit production.
Full Time Role- 30 to 40 hours per week.
Pay Starts from $32 per hour to $35 per hour
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day fruit production activities, including planting, pruning, thinning, pest management, irrigation, and harvesting.
- Lead and support orchard/farm staff, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
- Monitor crop health, identify issues early, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, yields, and inputs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, farm policies, and food-safety certifications.
- Operate and supervise the use of farm equipment and machinery.
- Collaborate with orchard/farm management to plan seasonal priorities and workforce schedules.
- Assist with quality control and post-harvest processes.
- 2-3 years experience in horticulture, fruit production, or a related agricultural field(supervisory experience preferred) OR
- Level 4 Qualification in Horticulture or Management. As this is a supervisory role any bachelors degree may be considered as being suitable for the role.
- Solid understanding of orchard management practices and crop growth cycles is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to operating basic orchard equipment.
- Good record-keeping and organizational skills.
- Able to work on a 7 days a week roster.
