Key Responsibilities
- Install solar panels, racking systems and associated equipment on rooftops and ground-mounted arrays
- Assist with installations on both new builds and existing properties
- Maintain a high standard of work quality and site safety
- Provide courteous, professional service to clients during installations
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Uphold HEL Rimu’s commitment to Health & Safety and AS/NZS standards
- 2+ years’ experience as an EWRB registered electrician.
- Previous experience in solar installation is essential.
- A mains parallel endorsement is a plus, but not required.
- Strong practical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to problem-solve and take ownership of tasks.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Full NZ driver’s license.
- Solar design experience is an advantage (but not required).
- Genuine interest in solar energy and sustainability.
