Due to increasing demand and workload we have multiple opportunities within our team for skilled and motivated Qualified Electricians and / or Solar Installers.
Key Responsibilities Across Positions- Install solar panels, racking systems and associated equipment on rooftops and ground-mounted arrays
- Assist with installations on both new builds and existing properties
- Providing electrical services for our Residential, Commercial, Rural, and light industrial clients
- Experience with Three Phase equipment, fault finding, preventative maintenance, shop fit outs, and small repair works
- Maintain a high standard of work quality and site safety
- Provide courteous, professional service to clients during installations
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Uphold HEL Rimu’s commitment to Health & Safety and AS/NZS standards
- Current New Zealand Electrical Practising Licence (EWRB registered).
- Valid NZ driver’s licence.
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience as a qualified electrician.
- A mains parallel endorsement is a plus, but not required
- Demonstrated experience with solar installation and electrical service work.
- Strong fault-finding skills, practical problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working at heights and in varied site environments.
- Experience with three-phase systems, industrial or rural electrical work is a bonus.
