Chefs – 2 positions
We require two experienced professional Chefs to join the team –
A minimum of 3 years exp in an a la carte kitchen with a passion for Italian food.
Primary Function -
Plans the preparation and cooking of food in a busy Italian restaurant.
Duties and Responsibilities -
Providing quality dishes, maintaining food costs, menu planning.
Food preparation and service for homemade pasta menu, dine in & takeaway.
Monitoring and complying with the Food Safety plan.
Ordering food supplies.
Full time positions, minimum of 30 hours per week.
$28 to $35 per hour depending on experience.
Restaurant Manager - 2 positions
Daily duties require –
Running the restaurant on a day-to-day basis ensuring that it is fit for purpose.
Whilst in service monitoring customer satisfaction.
Planning menus in consultation with Chefs.
Managing bookings reservations and greeting guests.
Selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff.
Pricing of menus, wine lists and cocktail menu.
Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions.
Planning and organising special functions.
Managing maintenance and ensuring cleanliness of the front of house area.
Monitoring and complying with the sale and supply of alcohol act.
Maintain food safety standards.
Minimum of 30 hours per week

Remuneration between $28 to $35 per hour depending on experience.

This position requires –
A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a restaurant manager.
A passion and understanding of Italian food and long-term commitment to the profession.
Excellent presentation and personality, with a team player attitude.
Current LQC and manager’s certificate.
Cooks- 2 Positions
Duties and Responsibilities
Preparing and serving pizza's & salads
Preparing and ordering food items for pizzas
Operating the pizza oven
Cleaning Food preparation and pizza area
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fast food operation
These positions require excellent presentation and personality, with a happy to help attitude.
A minimum of 30 hours per week.
Remuneration between $25 to $30 per hour depending on experience.
Front of House – 2 positions
Duties and Responsibilities include-
setting and arranging tables
greeting customers and presenting them with menus and beverage lists
taking orders and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff
serving food and beverages
collecting payments for sales
operating point of sales system
Full time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Remuneration from $25 to $35 depending on experience.
The suitable applicant will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
These positions are located in Wanaka.
