The Quality Patient Safety Team are looking for a QPS Business Partner to work within the team alongside Risk, Consumer engagement Clinical effectiveness.

The role is action orientated ensuring that quality and patient safety is an integral part of the business, working in partnership to provide communication, understand clinical issues and prove improvements. Quality improvement experience will be advantageous.

This role will report directly to the Director Quality patient safety.

Key responsibilities:

  • Quality Improvement including linking to Health Quality and Safety Commission.
  • Provide reporting on service quality performance.
  • Provide advice to service on risk management ensuring the register is current and mitigations are in place and monitored.

Quality and Patient Safety is responsible for oversight of Quality Patient Safety, including Infection Prevention Control, Certification and Regulatory compliance.

  • A registration with a Healthcare body in New Zealand.
