Job Description
The purpose of the role is to provide administrative, and systems support to the National Health and Safety manager for all AFFCO sites throughout New Zealand, including AFFCO Head Office. The role requires clear communication across all sites and acts as a point of contact for processing sites to disclose required information.
The position works closely with the Health & Safety Systems Officer and the National Health & Safety Manager across several different IT platforms, databases and liaises with multiple external parties to ensure all business, legislative and applicable Health & Safety system requirements are met.The position requires autonomy to ensure deadlines are met.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:- Conducting investigations when required
- Drafting and creation of the monthly and annual reports
- Completion of Purchase Orders
- Using Assura 'IPRS' Software for data extraction, analysis and reporting
- Coordination and administration of H&S Plan and initiatives
- Maintaining Health & Safety communications across the company
- Point of contact for injury management including ACC claim management
The role is 20 hours per week with flexibility and fixed term for 12 months.
