Head Chef
The Head Chef position requires extensive experience as a chef, with experience as a Sous Chef and preferably some Head Chef experience.
You must have a proven record of working in a la carte eateries with fast paced and high-volume work environments. We have very clear brand standards in regard to menu, recipes, contracted suppliers and the food control plan.
This role does not require supplier negotiation or menu development, but does require you to form great communication and relationships with our suppliers and understanding their systems. Menu recipes must be followed accurately and plated with love and care (and at pace at times) which is why Lone Star has been going strong since 1988.
There is support and leadership meetings with the Owners and FOH management to ensure smooth communications. The Head Chef will also receive feedback and support from the Food Team at our franchise head office.

This is a full time position and in normal conditions is approximately 40 hours per week.
