- Day Procedure Unit (DPU) Establishment provides clinical leadership and operational oversight to ensure readiness for day one opening, commissioning, and accreditation.
- Te Whatu Ora standards.Key responsibilities include the following:Provide clinical leadership and governance for the DPURecruit, orientate and build a nursing team ready to hit the ground runningEnsure day one readiness including equipment and consumablesImplement model-of-care improvements and new workflowsDevelop and align protocols, pathways, and policiesCoordinate digital solution implementation and staff trainingSupport commissioning, accreditation processes, change initiatives and stakeholder engagementOversee financial and resource planning for operational readinessEnhance patient experience through feedback mechanisms with the Consumer Health CouncilCollaborate closely with nurse managers from Perioperative and OutpatientsView position description.About usHealth New Zealand
