  • Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the roleThe Intellectual Disability Service (IDS) is part of the Specialist Mental Health Services based at Wakari Hospital, high above Dunedin.This role will:collaborate with the multidisciplinary team comprising of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Mental Health Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and Psychiatristsdevelop your clinical skills on a shift-by-shift basiswork alongside patients in a complex environment to meet their identified needs in a multi-disciplinary settingemphasise the delivery of safe client focused care in an ever-changing dynamic settingencompass acute care of patients recently admitted as well as the continuing care and rehabilitation of patients with complex needscollaborate closely with the Charge Nurse Manager, Associate Charge Nurse and the Clinical Nurse Specialist.About the Team/Service/LocationHealth New Zealand
