The role:
Reporting to the Branch Manager this role will involve servicing our trade customers on the Trade Counter, Inwards Goods, Cycle Counting, Stocking and Rotating products on shelves, Customer Deliveries, Loading / Unloading and whatever else is necessary within the branch.
Reporting to the Branch Manager this role will involve servicing our trade customers on the Trade Counter, Inwards Goods, Cycle Counting, Stocking and Rotating products on shelves, Customer Deliveries, Loading / Unloading and whatever else is necessary within the branch.
The role will also support the Branch Manager with partnering with our commercial customer as an Internal Key Account Manager.
- Providing friendly, professional service to our customers, including tradespeople, commercial businesses and homeowners
- Answer calls and emails and quoting orders
- Communicating delivery times and preparing order ready for delivery
- Supporting with inwards goods, stock put-away and cycle counts
- Accurately checking and receipting products into branch systems
- Preparing, loading and securely restraining products for delivery
- Delivering our products directly to the customer
- Maintaining a safe, organised, and customer-ready environment
This is a permanent full-time role, offering 40 hours a week. Working Monday to Friday 7:30am-4pm.
About you:
- Customer-focused attitude with the ability to be build rapport and form strong relationships
- You will be an excellent communicator who is organised and adaptable
- Trade industry/plumbing knowledge and/or product experience would be hugely beneficial, however not essential, as it would be your positive attitude and willingness to learn that we would be looking for
- A motivated, self-driven person, with the skill to work proactively, independently and within a team
- Be confident with computers and learning new systems
- Good sense of humour and a team player
- A Full New Zealand drivers' licence is essential for this role
