About the Role

As an Orderly in Security, you will support patient care by safely moving patients and items around the hospital at the right time, to the right place, in a courteous, professional and well-presented manner.

The working hours will be on an as required basis assisting with peak capacity and covering staff leave. There are no fixed days.

About the Team/Service/ Location

Our team of nearly 18 provide an efficient and effective collection and delivery service to staff and others, either internally or externally. Our work can be challenging, but we are up for it. We have a great team, and we work hard to make a difference.

About you

As an Orderly, you will bean excellent communicator who is passionate about delivering a quality service. Due to the nature of work you must:

  • Be efficient and able to manage your time effectively,
  • Be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

It's essential that you:

  • Obtain a clean driver's licence,
  • Are physically fit and active with knowledge of heaving lifting techniques,
  • Are eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.

Previous Hotel / Porter / Orderly or Security worker experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.
