Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About the roleThe Electoral Commission is looking for an experienced Training Coordinator to join the Business Enablement team. This is a fixed term role to support the preparation and delivery of 2026 Māori Electoral Option and General Election.The Training Coordinator will provide efficient and timely coordination and support in developing and delivering election delivery training products and services for electoral events.The salary range for is role is $79,150 - $87,940 depending on relevant skills and experience of the candidate.Key Responsibilities Supporting the development, delivery and evaluation of training programme, products and services.
Collating accurate inputs from subject matter experts, check the completeness of information and develop early iterations of training materials. Planning and managing logistics and bookings for training events. Assist with maintaining information and reports in Totara, the Learning Management System.Working collaboratively with subject matter experts across the Electoral Commission.Mōhou ake | About youTo be successful in this role you will need to: Have great planning and organisational skills. Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Have experience in facilitating group training and discussions. Have strong computer literacy, including high competence in the Microsoft Office suite. Build relationships effectively, both internally and externally. Demonstrate good judgement and problem-solving skills.
Be flexible and have the ability to work on multiple activities at any given time.
