Our Opportunity
Goodman Fielder is expanding it's UHT production capacity at our Meadow Fresh dairy manufacturing site in Christchurch and we're looking for a Project Manager to oversee the expansion. As the Project Manager you'll have responsibility for delivering building and process contracts through procurement, design, construction and commissioning of new production lines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contract, design and construction management of process and building contracts for a new UHT production equipment
- Delivery and management of complete contract scope including on time, on budget, and exceeding minimum quality requirements
- Manage contractors to minimise business inerruption through the scheduling and coordination of contract works
- Provide regular reports to Stakeholders through written reports and Site Project Meetings
Note: This is a fixed-term role for the duration of 24 months. There is a potential for extension based on project approvals.
About You
In order to make this role a success we are looking for an experienced Project Manager that has a track record of delivering projects in the Dairy (preferable) or Food manufacturing industries.
Other experience, qualifications and skillsets we're looking for, include:
- Qualification in Engineering (Chemical, Process or Mechanical)
- Project organisation, cost estimation schedule development including scope of work technical specifications
- Hygienic design experience, Safety in Design and HAZOP workshop experience
- Experience with change management, design management, and an understanding of contract management principles
- Capability with AutoCAD for 2D layouts is preferred
