Nor West Contracting Ltd is a well-established, independent company specialising in earthworks, drainage, and civil contracting. With a growing workload, we’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and lead a variety of projects across Canterbury.
About the Role
This position is suited to someone who thrives on variety and can confidently manage multiple sites and teams. You’ll be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee civil infrastructure projects from planning through to completion.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Lead site teams and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient delivery.
- Liaise with clients, councils, and consultants.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Proven experience in project management within civil infrastructure sector, preferably sub divisions and site works.
- Strong understanding of site operations, logistics, and safety management.
- Expert knowledge of NZS3910 and other relevant construction contracts.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Full NZ driver’s licence.
