Highwater Eatery is seeking a motivated Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie to join our one-hatted kitchen on Cuba Street, Wellington.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a high-performing supportive team, working with outstanding local and seasonal produce in one of Wellington’s most respected dining rooms.
About the Role;- Run your own section (pans or larder) with consistency and care
- Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
- Maintain prep, cleanliness, and organisation of your section
- Uphold high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Work with the wider team to deliver simple, quality, technique-driven dishes
- 1–2+ years’ experience in a quality kitchen (Junior, Mid, or Senior CDP level)
- Strong modern cookery skills and willingness to learn
- Calm and reliable during service
- Great communication and a positive, team-focused attitude
- Passion for seasonal, local, high-quality ingredients
- Culinary qualification (NZQA Level 4) or equivalent experience

*$26–$29 per hour (based on experience & ability) + tips- Minimum 35 hours per week
