Lone Star Napier is a fast paced A-LA-CARTE restaurant located in the heart of Napier city on Marine Parade serving The Legendary Lone Star delicacies, We are looking for chef to join our team.

The successful candidate must have, • Passion to work in industry

At least three years of experience in fast-paced commercial kitchen or relevant diploma in cookery
Willingness and desire to work in fast-paced environment
Punctuality
Reliability
Right attitude for the job

Basic introduction to the role as below,

General chef duties
Cost effective operation
Meet food cost and wage cost targets
To follow all relevant LSF or site specific procedures and checklists
To follow instructions, take direction with respect and work in any section you are assigned with a good attitude
To act respectfully towards all fellow workers including Bar and FOH
Follow Lone Star recipes to the letter as specified in the Kitchen Bible
Receiving checking and signing all deliveries
Sorting out any incorrect orders by contacting suppliers
Putting away all deliveries
Rotating stock
Keep the chiller, freezer and dry store organized and tidy
To follow all Lone Star bible recipes and methodology when preparing food and during service
Keep food labeled, dated, well covered and rotated
Use training manuals, kitchen bible, job related documents, checklists and house rules to aid training
Correct uniform is worn as specified in the Operations Manual and How to be a Star induction Manual
Personal hygiene is a the highest standard as specified in the Operations Manual and How to be a Star induction Manual
