Prepare and cook a diverse and innovative menu, focusing on both savoury dishes and pastries.
Develop and perfect a range of pastries, baked goods, and desserts.
Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation.
Maintain food hygiene and follow Food Control Plan according to council requirements.
Maintain inventory, order supplies, and manage kitchen costs.
Proven experience as a Chef with pastry(Optional) expertise in a cafe or restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of culinary and baking techniques and practices.
Ability to work under pressure and manage a busy kitchen environment.
Organisational and time management skills with positive attitude.
Culinary and pastry degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
Food safety course within the past three years and well understanding.
Budgeting and menu costing skills with computers skills.
Work independently and as part of a team,Working under experienced head chef with high expectation.
Ability to work on a rostered shift basis
Must be able to work weekends, long weekends.
No split shift or evening shift.

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef with pastry experience (Optional)to join our team and enhance both our savoury and sweet culinary creations.
Key Responsibilities:-Prepare and cook a diverse and innovative menu, focusing on both savoury dishes and pastries.

Collaborate with Head Chef to develop seasonal menus and special offerings.
Requirements:-Proven experience as a Chef with pastry(Optional) expertise in a cafe or restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of culinary and baking techniques and practices.
Ability to work under pressure and manage a busy kitchen environment.
Organisational and time management skills with positive attitude.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Cafe open 7 days, Shift hours between 6am to 3pm.Must be able to work weekends, long weekends.
No split shift or evening shift.
Full time position available for minimum 40hrs per week with great pay based on experience.
