About the role and who we are looking for:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Retail Assistant to work at Whanganui Hospital Café. Permanent Part-time opportunity, 22.5 hours per week between 3pm-7.30pm Monday to Friday.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:- providing great front of house customer service
- using POS and EFTPOS
- make consistently outstanding coffee
- keeping workspace clean and tidy
- daily closing down of cafe
- Be hard working and reliable, with a flexible approach and a 'can do' attitude. Take pride in personal presentation.
- Have excellent communication skills with a fluent command of English.
- Ideally, have some experience working in a similar position and hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167).
- Have a passion for great customer service and quality.
