Café Assistant / Barista
Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 2:00pm
Our busy onsite café at PTS Logistics Head Office site is looking for a friendly and capable Café Assistant/Barista to join the team. The café is well-established and services both our staff and the general public, offering a welcoming environment and great coffee.
About the Role
This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced café environment. You’ll play an important role in maintaining our high standards of coffee, food presentation, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparing and serving barista-quality coffee
- Assisting with food preparation and cabinet presentation
- Providing warm, professional customer service
- Operating the till and handling transactions
- Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
- Supporting smooth day-to-day café operations
- Previous barista or café experience preferred
- Confident preparing espresso-based coffees
- Friendly, reliable and well-presented
- Able to work efficiently during busy periods
- Strong time management skills
- Food safety knowledge or certification is an advantage
- Stable weekday hours — no weekends
- School-friendly hours
- Supportive team environment
- A well-run, established café with regular clientele
