Experienced Barista to handle Busy rush without stress and unsupervised (Not for learners, over 250 coffee a day easily) Applicants with proven Barista experience will be considered. Its a busy role for experienced Barista. We take coffee seriously to keep our quality and speed.
Adoro cafe Napier CBD - Location: 1 Dickens Street, Napier, New Zealand
Hours: Rostered shifts between 6:30 AM – 4 PM.Saturday and Sunday Is Must, No exception. Its requirement for the role not optional.
Adoro Cafe Napier is a renowned coffee haven, loved for its exceptional coffee, cozy atmosphere, and top-tier service. We're seeking an experienced barista to join our passionate team!. Are you a great Barista and want to up-skill yourself in management role, If you have the right attitude and a willingness to learn, we’re happy to provide training to help you grow into a managerial or supervisory role.
What We're Looking For:- Experience: Minimum 3 years as a barista with great coffee skills and knowledge.
- cafe Manager or supervisor experience will be advantage. follow instructions and keen to learn new skills.
- Technical Skills: Understanding of grinders, espresso machines, extraction techniques, and latte art.
- Fast Learner & Team Player: Ability to adapt quickly in a busy environment while working efficiently with the team.
- Customer Service: Strong communication skills, friendly attitude, and confidence in handling orders at the till, over the phone, and in person.
- Physical Fitness: This is a fast-paced role requiring stamina and agility. Ability to priorities and manage work load.
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee with precision and consistency.
- Engage with customers to ensure a welcoming and enjoyable experience.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
- Work efficiently during peak hours alongside a dynamic team. Well organisational skills and able to work in rush time.
- Proven barista experience in hospitality .Keen to learn new skills and follow instructions.
- Ability to handle busy service periods with confidence and keep up with pace.
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing techniques, and milk texturing.
- Must be available on Saturdays & Sundays, Public holidays, Christmas and new year holiday periods.
