Mō te tūnga | About the role:As the Business Analyst you'll play an important part in delivering an important and complex project for Whaikaha. The project responds to the need for an accessible workplace with scalable, secure, and cost-effective systems that support operational efficiency and compliance with public sector digital standards.You'll be part of a team committed to innovation and inclusion, and, as a member of our pilot AI group, you'll help us explore how AI can accelerate delivery and improve outcomes.This is a fixed term role ending 30 June 2026.
Key responsibilities include:Coordinating and supporting project planning, reporting, and deliveryTracking progress and preparing project documentationConducting gap analysis and designing practical solutionsAssessing the impact of changes and measuring benefitsSupporting budgeting and financial processesCollaborating with stakeholders across the organisationApplying AI tools to improve workflow efficiency and decision-making Mōu | About you:Proven experience in business analysis and coordination roles, ideally in the public sectorConfidence in tracking progress, preparing project plans and reportsFamiliarity with gap analysis, solution design, and benefit measurementStrong prioritisation skills, initiative, and ability to meet deadlines in a busy environmentKnowledge of business systems, tools, budgeting, and financial processesComfort using AI tools like Microsoft Copilot to support your work and improve efficiency is desirable.To undertake this role successfully you will either be a disabled person or you will be able to establish credibility and trust with the disability community.
