This is a key position as one of the leaders in the Dry Goods departments, you will help shape the day-to-day operations and lead our team through effective training and timely feedback.This role offers a great store culture and full training from the Floor Operations Manager. Your day to day:- Leading the Dry Goods leadership team to ensure daily operations run smoothly
- Organising and delegating tasks for our team of retail assistants.
- Helping and assisting customers on the shop floor making sure they have an amazing shopping experience with us!
- Presenting stock so it is accessible and looks great
- Adhering to all health and safety standards
- Assisting with loss prevention.
- Current forklift license
- Relevant experience in a retail environment and previous supervisory experience are required
- Outstanding people skills - you will spend a lot of your time interacting with your team and customers.
- A great work ethic and hardworking nature
- A willingness and openness to learn new skills and processes
- The ability to work independently and self-manage
- The ability to work quickly and efficiently while managing your own workload organisation and prioritisation skills are important here!
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good physical fitness for lifting and moving stock around
- Great presentation skills and attention to detail
This role is Tuesday to Saturday with all 4:30am starts. Hours to be negotiated at interview stage and will be between 37.5 to 45 hours.
