About the Role

As Team Leader, you - ll be responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery of Health Technology Management (HTM) services across the equipment lifecycle - from procurement and installation to maintenance and decommissioning. • Coordinate the onboarding, configuration, commissioning, and maintenance of medical equipment and systems.
  • Oversee compliance with NZ regulations, safety standards, and cybersecurity for devices.
  • Lead safety alert and recall management, incident investigation, and risk mitigation.
  • Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and cost-efficiency across operations.
  • Build team capacity and support workforce development and retention strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and national HTM partners.
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery, KPI tracking, and effective contract management.
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership, including budgeting and planning.

What You - ll Bring

Essential:

  • Tertiary qualification in Clinical or Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, or a related scientific field, or extensive leadership-level clinical engineering experience.
