About the Role We are looking for an enthusiastic multi skilled administrator to join our vibrant team at Wellington Hospital.
This is a casual position covering full-time rostered and rotating staff for two 24/7 services, as well as covering the part time shifts based at Kenepuru Maternity Unit.Duties include:Meeting and greeting patients and visitorsDemographic validationRegistering all patients who presentAdmissions, discharges and transfers of patientsAdministration support for clinical staffAbout the teamWe are a medium-sized team of administrators providing administration support to the clinicians working with the Emergency Department and Birthing Suite at Wellington Regional Hospital, as well as the Kenepuru Maternity Unit.The team work on a 12-line roster in ED and 4-line roster in Birthing Suite covering 24 hours, seven days a week.
We then have an additional two staff covering the Kenepuru Maternity Unit for 20 hours per week Monday to Friday.About you As the successful candidate you will be a committed team player who is a self-starter, can work well under pressure and have excellent attention to detail.
The ability to prioritise your workload, and data entry experience is a must.Most importantly, you- ll take a lead in customer relationship care
