About the Role
As Service Manager, you will be responsible for:- Leading and developing a team of HVAC and Electrical Technicians and Apprentices.
- Overseeing service, installation, and maintenance activities across commercial projects.
- Assist with Quoting and estimating HVAC service and project work.
- Working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to meet project timelines and budgets.
- Conducting quality control checks, on-site inspections, and technical troubleshooting.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Supporting recruitment, training, and upskilling across the team.
- Providing technical advice to clients and internal teams.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:- Proven experience as a Service Manager or in a senior leadership position in HVAC or Electrical services.
- A relevant trade qualification – a strong HVAC background is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and safety requirements.
Experience in: o Fancoil and air handler units
o Extraction systemso Chillers, VRF, refrigerant and boiler systems
o Brazed, welded, and crimped piping systems
o Seismic bracing installations
- Ability to quote, prioritise tasks, and manage workflows efficiently.
- Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with digital tools for reporting and job tracking.

The Projects
You’ll be working on commercial and industrial HVAC and electrical projects, with values up to $4 million and construction sites worth up to $100 million. Collaboration is key, with a strong connection between field teams and the in-house design team.
