Evening Service Manager

Our beloved evening service manager is departing to pursue an exciting opportunity in Auckland. As such, Floriditas is now hiring to fill this role at our much-loved venue.

We are looking for an experienced manager who brings not just experience, but a high level of skill, sophistication, and expertise to the table. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in a dynamic, high-paced environment, and who takes pride in delivering a world-class hospitality experience.

We need someone with a deep commitment to the craft, someone who can inspire a team, elevate service, and set the standard for excellence.

• Experienced Leadership: You have 2+ years in a senior leadership role at a high-volume restaurant, with a proven ability to manage teams and oversee smooth, seamless service. Your track record speaks for itself - references will attest to your leadership, professionalism, and ability to thrive under pressure.
• Skill & Expertise: You are not just an operator - you are a seasoned professional who has honed your craft over time. You understand the nuances of service, have a deep knowledge of restaurant operations, and excel in guiding your team through both peak and off-peak times with skill and calm. You are well-versed in handling every aspect of restaurant management, from guest communication to stocktake, and you can make confident decisions on the fly.
• A Passion for Hospitality: Above all, you’re passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences. Hospitality isn’t just a job for you - it’s your career. You understand that leading by example is essential, and you are constantly striving to elevate the standard of service within your team.
• Open Book Management Expertise: You’ll be trained in Open Book Management (OBM) and take ownership of conversations around revenue, forecasting, wage costs, and cost of goods. You understand the financial side of running a restaurant and are comfortable being part of the decision-making process. You’ll help empower your team with OBM principles to ensure alignment with our core business goals.
• Strategic Thinker: You’re someone who thrives in the details but also sees the bigger picture. You can forecast trends, manage costs, and drive revenue while keeping the team focused on delivering exceptional service. You’re comfortable working alongside the directors, providing feedback, and contributing to long-term growth strategies.
