Position Overview
As a Landscaper at Lakes Consultancy, you will work as part of a tight-knit crew to deliver a wide range of landscaping projects—from residential garden transformations to large-scale commercial developments. You will play a hands-on role in constructing, planting, and maintaining high-quality outdoor spaces that align with our values and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Execute landscaping tasks including paving, decking, retaining, planting, fencing, and turf installation.
- Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Follow plans, instructions, and specifications to ensure accurate project delivery.
- Maintain high-quality workmanship and attention to detail on all tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and site leadership.
- Uphold health and safety practices at all times—if it’s not safe, we don’t do it.
- Keep sites clean, organized, and professional at all times.
- Support a positive and respectful team culture.
**Required:**
- Experience in landscaping, construction, or a related trade.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to work in outdoor conditions.
- Solid work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Basic knowledge of tools, machinery, and site safety.
- Full NZ Driver’s Licence (Class 1 or higher).
- Experience operating diggers or machinery (WTR endorsements an advantage).
- Site Safe or other relevant safety qualifications.
- Monday to Friday, 6am–6pm (hours may vary based on project needs).
- Work is primarily outdoors and physically demanding.
- Travel between sites across Rotorua, Waikato, and occasionally further afield.
