Landscape Gardener role available here;

Loads of employee benefits that make this job an easy ‘yes’.

Here is an opportunity to prove yourself as a gardener. We are looking for an experienced gardener. We have the growth and support you need to learn, grow and move up.

Marc Doyle Treework is a reputable and established business servicing private and commercial clients across the greater Waikato. We have growth on the horizon and are searching for an experienced gardener to roll up their sleeves and join our new, growing horticulture and gardening maintenance service for our existing client base.

This is an exciting and unique opportunity for an experienced gardener to bring their skills and positive can-do attitude to a growing team.

At Marc Doyle Treework, we are passionate about Green Space and People! We exist to enable 'People’ to enjoy better ‘Outdoor Spaces’.

Since 1984, we have put people first every time. Our people, our clients, and anyone else we have the pleasure of engaging with in our everyday work.

So, our question to you is – do you love the work you do with people and outdoor spaces as much as we do?

Knowing your Daffodils from your Dandelions and showing a real passion for delivering exceptional service will be key to your success.

Working 5 days per week, you will be working on beautiful residential and small commercial properties through Hamilton, Cambridge, Te Awamutu and the greater Waikato.

This position is a Mon-Friday job (although may be flexible on days). Since you are going to be hands-on with the work and training of the team, you will have experience in:

weeding
pruning small trees and shrubs
hedge trimming
mulching
spraying
fertilizing
planting
irrigation installation
plant health diagnosis

advise

Alongside this experience, you will:

Have a genuine passion for gardens and green space
Be customer-centric and enjoy meeting new people
Be open to new training and upskilling with arborist knowledge and skills
Have experience in residential and commercial gardening
Have relevant horticulture qualifications and at least 1 year gardening experience
Be confident and suitably trained in spray application
Hold a current full license car license. A Class 2 would be great, but not essential.

Our mission is to be the gold standard in Arboriculture and Horticultural services.

We will do this by meeting the highest standards in everything we do. Part of that promise includes our ongoing commitment to creating an unrivalled place of work for our people.

Apply today by sharing with us, a copy of your CV and a brief cover letter (with a photo of yourself) telling us why you are the right person for the job. You can email this to chris@marcdoyletreework.co.nz

Do you feel like you don't meet every single requirement mentioned above?

Studies have shown that some people are less likely to apply for jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At the Marc Doyle Treework, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but your work experience doesn't quite align perfectly with everything we have shared above, we encourage you to apply anyway.

The must-have is that you have the right to work in NZ, and the successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, and MoJ criminal background check.
