Wellington - Executive Assistant to the GM Environment
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the Group Manager, Environment. This full-time, permanent role is based in our modern, central Wellington office and offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to apply your expertise in a fast-paced environment.

**About the role:**
As Executive Assistant to the Group Manager Environment you will pro-actively manage their schedule, meetings, travel and various logistical needs with efficiency and attention to detail. You will need to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with effective administration and systems management, are essential for success.
You will be part of a team of Executive Assistants who support Group Managers, the Council Chair, and the Chief Executive so collaboration is key to ensure seamless support across the organisation.
**Skills and experience required:**
We are looking for someone with high integrity, discretion, and the ability to build strong professional relationships. You'll need superb time management skills and the ability to navigate fast moving and evolving situations. This is a busy role, but fun is also important, and collegiality is valued. Other essential skills we need you to have:
- Strong relationship management, starting with a trusted partnership with the Group Manager
- Proactive approach to anticipating and fulfilling organisational and team needs
- Advanced proficiency in the MS Office suite
- Excellent planning, prioritisation, and deadline management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to balance competing demands under pressure
- Commitment to building an understanding of te ao Maori and tikanga
- Adaptability to new technology and systems

The remuneration for this position, inclusive of all benefits, is $80,945 to $121,418, with a midpoint of $101,182. Starting remuneration will depend on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
