Rosella is a neighbourhood restaurant and wine bar drawing inspiration from Mediterranean, North African, and Middle Eastern flavours.
We are on the lookout for a high energy, focused, and dedicated individual who wants to become part of an exciting hospitality company. The focus is on having fun, while creating world class experiences in a professional environment.
You will be given ongoing training and mentorship in the role, covering the day-to-day operations of managing a busy restaurant and team. The role would include 40-50 hrs per week at our venue in Mount Victoria, Wellington.

- Offered rate of $70 - 80k, dependent on experience.
In the role you will be the key lead to the restaurant, with support structure of Assistant Restaurant Manager and duty managers to assist in daily leadership with admin and restaurant services.
Your duties will include the following areas:
- assisting in training, motivating, and supporting supplemental management and junior staff
- hosting a busy service whilst managing and motivating your team
- opening/closing procedures, cash ups
- working towards targets and weekly goals via P&L meetings,
- event coordinating
- weekly meetings with management team and ownership structure
- development of future research trips
- collaboration with beverage director in relation to spirits, wines, beers, and all other beverage lists
You will be highly motivated by the company vision and be excited by the opportunity to nurture and develop a team of extraordinary people. You will have at least 3 years experience in a similar role or have proven skills and knowledge from working in high-end dining.
