Restaurant Manager / Assistant General Manager
About the Role
You’ll oversee the smooth running of our day-to-day operations — from the dining room and bar to team leadership, customer service, and financial performance.Working closely with our senior team, you’ll lead by example, inspire our people, and deliver a consistent, high-quality experience that keeps guests coming back.
- Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate all daily restaurant operations, including front of house and bar
Plan and review menus with the Head Chef to maintain quality and profitability
Manage ordering, inventory control, and supplier relationships
Set and monitor pricing, budgets, and cost targets
Manage financial records including daily cash flow, wage costs, and reporting
Recruit, train, roster, and mentor the FOH team
Lead a culture of exceptional customer service and presentation
Respond to guest feedback and resolve issues professionally
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
Oversee cleanliness, maintenance, and venue standards
Be hands-on during service to support the team and ensure smooth delivery- About You
Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar role in a busy full-service venue
Strong leadership and people management skills
Sound understanding of financials, cost control, and reporting
Excellent communication and problem-solving ability
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and liquor licensing requirements
Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings
LCQ and Duty Manager Certificate (preferred)- What We Offer
