We're looking for a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team working in a busy airport environment. You'll be responsible for both scheduled and reactive maintenance, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely behind the scenes.

What you'll be doing | Nga Kawenga Takohanga
  • Carrying out general maintenance and engineering tasks to a high standard
  • Scheduling your work around aircraft movements
  • Using IT systems to manage terminal duties
  • Ordering supplies and materials as needed
  • Ensuring tasks are completed on time and to contract specs, within budget.
  • Complying with all Citycare policies and procedures
  • Working professionally with clients and the public
  • Always keeping health and safety top of mind
  • Reporting issues to your supervisor promptly
  • Participating in a rotating on-call roster (1 week in every 4)
What You'll Bring to the Table | Nga Mea ka Mauria e Koe ki te Runanga
  • Five years working in general engineering.
  • Trade certificate in an engineering trade.
  • A natural communicator who knows how to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and get things done.
  • Experience in welding, fabrication and Sheetmetal work.
  • A problem-solver who loves rolling up your sleeves and coming up with practical solutions that deliver value.
  • An expert in Health & Safety - you understand the importance of mitigating risks and keeping everyone safe.
