Job Purpose Statement

This Position is responsible for scheduling Claims and ordering parts for our Collision Connect sites across the country then booking and aligning repair dates for our customers

The role holder must treat customers, suppliers and co-workers with respect and courtesy and ensure that our customers always receive prompt, professional and friendly service.

Your duties
  • Order parts and align the arrival dates to suit the repair dates for all sites
  • Booking of loan vehicles for customers to align with repair dates
  • Raising purchase orders and receiving parts in via our software
  • Schedule claims/customers in for repair dates
  • Work closely with site managers to maintain targets and adequate work flow is booked
  • Determine salvage value on total vehicle loss.
  • Contacting customers with private estimates and following up on old claims
  • Consult with client, suppliers, colleagues to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
  • On going training will be provided to understand estimating process
  • Other reasonable duties as required.
  • Develop and maintain insurer/company relations.
Your Capabilities To be successful in this Position you should have and maintain the following:
  • A good working knowledge of mathematics.
  • Sound written and oral communication skills.
  • knowledge of Vehicle Repair would help including a detailed knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the repair of vehicles.
Able to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • An Active listener able to give your full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Able to exercise good judgement and decision making when considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
  • Able to use computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to fulfil the requirements of the role.
  • The ability to analyse data and information.
  • A team player with a can do attitude.
